Insurance & Payment

Insurance Coverage

KCWC participates in most health care plans in the Kansas City area.  If you are not sure whether we accept your insurance coverage, please feel free to contact our office before your first visit to make sure we accept your insurance carrier.

For a list of insurance plans we accept, please click here.

We request payment at the time of service for co-pays, deductibles or co-insurance. Our staff will be happy to file your claim with your insurance provider for reimbursement. Remember, most managed care plans require a co-payment at the time of service. Any out-of-pocket expenses related to your visit depend on your insurance plan’s contractual agreement. However, by staying within your plan’s network, you can usually avoid unnecessary expenses. Be sure to check with your insurance carrier if you have specific concerns.

If you do not have insurance coverage, our staff will be happy to discuss payment options for your care. For your convenience, our office accepts MasterCard, Visa or Discover. Whether you have insurance or not, it is ultimately your responsibility to be certain your medical bills are paid in full, and to discuss any financial concerns you have with us.

Billing Office

KCWC has consolidated its billing services at an off-site location. Our billing office can answer any questions you may have about your account, insurance claims or billing statements. For prompt answers to your questions, please contact them between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 913-894-1899, and identify yourself as a KCWC patient.
