About Martha Killingsworth
Martha has had the opportunity to work in a variety of nursing specialties from the post-operative surgical unit, emergency department, intensive care unit, to a level II nursery. Once her second daughter was born, she decided to return to school to become a nurse practitioner.
When she started her women’s health rotation, she realized she had finally found her niche. “My goal then and now is to make the patient’s visit as comfortable as possible,” Martha says. “I strive to explain diagnoses and treatments in a way that makes sense. Wellness is a partnership between the patient and her health care providers.”
